ISAAC Black Sheep Creamery #8007
DOB 2/7/08 Rideau Arcott Isaac was the ram that we used to build our original herd. His fantastic genetics can be seen in the lambs that he sired and their offspring. His ewe lambs have wonderful milking qualities, fat large teats with no extras, perfect for hand-milking as well as machine milking. His ewe lambs are also are well-muscled with long bodies. They are hardy and finish well on grass. Isaac had to leave our breeding program in 2012. Despite the warnings I was given not to love on ram lambs, I did, and Isaac turned very aggressive after a few years! ROMULUS Sudan Farm
DOB 2/28/09 Registered Border Leicester Romulus was here for a couple years to add width, muscle, and wool quality to our dairy lamb crop. He moved on to his new home in 2013 Just as we expected, he sired some amazing litters (all of which were triplets, except for one!) Romulus was the sweetest, most docile ram I have ever been around. You don't even have to watch your back around Roms during breeding season! DANNY Black Sheep Creamery DOB 2/5/14 East Fresian/Cotswold Danny came to the farm in the spring of 2014.. He is from excellent linage, his sire is a handsome fellow from NZ. Danny is a triplet, and is (obviously) covered in cute spots. (Cuteness is a major factor here at HHF. :-) Wool quality is excellent and his dam had a total lactation of 500 lbs at 7 years old in 2014! We feel very blessed to have this handsome stud and are incredibly excited to see his replacement ewes this year!
